Making an Impact

Paris Group Realty, LLC’s purpose is to help individuals and families achieve their dreams and financial goals through homeownership in a healthy environment, with active communities and equality for all. These are more than just hopes and desires – they are fundamental priorities we consciously address every day, and in every aspect of our business.

This year we’re taking a bold new step and challenging ourselves to do even more. From transitioning homeless individuals to housing and homeownership, to empowering our youth and making healthy foods available to all kinds of families in need, we want to lift up as many people and communities as possible in the Portland Metro area and beyond.

Habitat for Humanity Portland Region believes that everyone deserves to have a stable and affordable place to call home. Through homeownership, they are able to create healthy spaces for owners to thrive, while allowing them to build equity and a stable future. Home buyers take an active role in every step of the process, partnerships with local organizations help to improve affordability, and volunteer efforts all contribute to the success of this truly fantastic non-profit.

Urban Gleaners recognized both the need to reduce food waste, as well as the growing number of children and their families experiencing food insecurity in Oregon. Their solution is to collect fresh food before it goes to waste from a growing list of local restaurants, grocery stores, farms and more. That food is then re-packaged to create wholesome family meals that are distributed via school pantries, mobile markets, summer markets and non-profit pick-ups. A simple and very effective plan to support our communities and create a healthier community for all.

Green Initiatives and Sustainability

In Portland, we are fortunate to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who are concerned about our environment and regularly take steps to protect it for future generations. From a business perspective, our city is also home to many companies that value and protect the outdoors, factoring in environmental impact when making business decisions.

Paris Group Realty, LLC is committed to being a good steward of our planet. We strive to use resources more efficiently by reducing, reusing, and recycling, and incorporating employee and community engagement while addressing water, transportation, and energy concerns. With all of us working together, we hope to make Portland a cleaner and happier place to live and work.

Paris Group Realty, LLC is a silver-certified member of the Sustainability at Work program. Formed in 2007 by the City of Portland, this initiative originated as a solution for businesses that lacked the time, budget, and knowledge, and who wanted to improve their environmental practices.

To be designated at the silver-certified level, a company must complete 25-44 of 45 total best practices to help the business run ‘greener.’ With 43 actions and activities currently in place, we are well on our way to achieving our goal of gold-level certification in these next upcoming months.
